1. What We Collect and How

When you use OutfitPilot, we collect the following data through these methods:

• Account information: Email address and password (hashed). Collected when you create an account.
• Wardrobe photos: Images of your clothing that you upload via your device camera or photo library. These are stored securely in cloud storage and sent to third-party AI services for analysis (see Section 3).
• Profile photo: If you provide a profile photo or selfie, it is stored in cloud storage and may be sent to AI services to personalise styling recommendations and for virtual try-on generation.
• Style preferences: Your style profile, preferred colours, textures, formality levels, and body information (height, weight, build, body description) that you choose to provide. Collected through the onboarding flow and profile settings.
• Location data: If you grant location permission, your device coordinates are used to fetch local weather data for weather-appropriate outfit suggestions. Your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (a weather API) and may be sent to our AI styling service for context. You can disable this at any time.
• Usage and interaction data: Which outfits you save, dismiss, rate, and wear. Dismiss reasons and feedback you provide. This data is used to build a personalised style profile and improve future suggestions.
• Selfie photos (Virtual Try-On): If you use Virtual Try-On, your selfie is sent to WaveSpeed AI for image generation. Selfies are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently by WaveSpeed.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To analyse your clothing items using AI, identifying type, colour, material, fit, pattern, and formality.
• To generate personalised outfit suggestions from your wardrobe based on your style preferences, body information, weather, and occasion.
• To build a personalised style persona based on your wardrobe composition and interaction patterns, improving recommendation quality over time.
• To provide virtual try-on previews showing how outfits look on you.
• To provide weather-appropriate styling suggestions based on your location.
• To manage your subscription through RevenueCat.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
• Your photos are not used to train AI models. Photos are processed for analysis and styling only. They are not retained by AI providers for model training.
• We do not share your data with any parties beyond those listed in Section 3.
• We do not use your data for advertising or targeted marketing outside the app.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

5. In-App Consent

Before any of your data is sent to third-party AI services for the first time, OutfitPilot displays a consent screen within the app. This screen clearly discloses:

• What data will be sent
• Which third-party services will receive it
• The purpose of each data share

You must explicitly accept this disclosure before AI features are activated. If you decline, AI-powered features (outfit generation, wardrobe analysis, virtual try-on) will not be available, but you can still use the app to browse your wardrobe.

6. Other Third-Party Services

In addition to the AI services listed above, we use:

• Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage. Your account data, wardrobe metadata, and photos are stored using Supabase's cloud infrastructure.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. Manages your Pro subscription status. Does not receive your wardrobe data or photos.
• Apple / Google: Payment processing for in-app purchases. Handled entirely by the platform. We do not receive or store your payment details.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase's cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access restricted to your account. We use HTTPS for all data transmission and never store your password in plain text.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed, including:

• Your style profile, preferences, and body information
• All wardrobe item photos and metadata
• Saved outfits and generation history
• Try-on results and interaction data
• Your computed style persona

You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile > Account > Delete Account) or by contacting us at hello@outfitpilot.app.

9. Children's Privacy

OutfitPilot is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent for AI data processing at any time

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of OutfitPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
