1. What We Collect
When you use OutfitPilot, we collect:
- Account information: Email address and password (hashed).
- Photos: Images of your clothing that you upload. These are stored securely in cloud storage.
- Style preferences: Your style profile, preferred colours, textures, formality levels, and body information you choose to provide.
- Usage data: Which features you use, outfit generation history, and app interaction patterns.
- Selfie photos: If you use Virtual Try-On, your selfie is sent to our AI provider for processing and is not stored permanently.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To analyse your clothing items using AI (photos are sent to Google and Anthropic APIs for processing).
- To generate outfit suggestions tailored to your wardrobe and preferences.
- To provide virtual try-on previews (photos are sent to WaveSpeed AI for processing).
- To improve our service and AI accuracy.
- To manage your subscription through RevenueCat.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide our features:
- Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google (Gemini): Clothing image analysis and tagging.
- Anthropic (Claude): Outfit generation and styling advice.
- WaveSpeed: Virtual try-on image generation and background removal.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing.
- Apple / Google: Payment processing for in-app purchases.
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase's cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access restricted to your account. We use HTTPS for all data transmission and never store your password in plain text.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed, including:
- Your style profile and preferences
- All wardrobe item photos and metadata
- Saved outfits and generation history
- Try-on results

6. Children's Privacy
OutfitPilot is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict processing of your data

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of OutfitPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
